Our Task Consists of Exclusively Eliminating' - The Way Sudan's Brutal Paramilitary Group Conducted a Mass Killing

Militiamen chuckle as they ride on the rear of a pick-up truck, speeding past a series of nine dead bodies and moving towards the sinking Sudanese sunset.

"See such accomplishment. Look at this act of ethnic cleansing," one cheers.

He grins as he turns the recording device on himself and his associate militiamen, their RSF badges on display: "These people shall all perish in this manner."

The combatants are celebrating a massacre that aid workers believe claimed the lives of over 2,000 people in the Sudan's metropolis of the Darfur city during October.

An Urban Center Isolated from the World

Following their control of the urban area under siege for almost an extended period, from August the RSF advanced to consolidate its control and blockade the remaining residents.

Space-based imagery show that fighters commenced to build a enormous sand wall - a raised sand barrier - surrounding the boundaries of al-Fashir, sealing off entry points and preventing humanitarian assistance.

During the encirclement escalated, seventy-eight civilians were slain in an RSF assault on a religious building on mid-September, while the United Nations said fifty-three more were slain in unmanned aircraft and artillery strikes on a displacement camp in fall.

An elderly man dressed in a robe was seated by himself amid the victims. The man looked to glance as a fighter equipped with a firearm moved descending the stairs facing the victim. pointing his firearm, the gunman fired a single bullet at the victim, who fell to the surface motionless.

"Why is this person still alive," a combatant cried. "Execute this one."

Satellite images recorded on late October appeared to confirm that shootings were additionally conducted on the roads of the city, according to a report published by the Yale Humanitarian Research Lab.

A key observer who communicated said he had witnessed "numerous of our relatives being executed - these individuals were assembled in a specific area and everyone eliminated."

Paramilitary Commanders Seek to Conduct Damage Control

Following the events that came after the massacre, paramilitary commander admitted that his troops had committed "atrocities" and stated the events would be looked into.
